Abstract:
The rural population without land had represented in 1913, in the
Botosani district, about the third part of the rural population. If, to this it is
add the population that has under 1 ha area field too (11% in Dorohoi and
6% in Botosani) it results the precarios positiones of the agriculture before
first world war in the those two district from the present district Botosani.
After the Reform was applied, the medium surface that had returned to one
owner from the houses group with surface until 5 ha area, had decresed
compeared with 1913 with 24% in Botosani district, and in Dorohoi district
had increased with 29%. In change, in 10-50 ha group surfaces, thase
surface increases in Botosani district with 5% but in Dorohoi district
decreases with 17%. If the Agrarian Reform gave a natural and rational
division of the agricultural surfaces, had created a amaising number of
economical precarios units, that determine the division of the land.
