Aspecte privind situaţia comerţului electronic în România

Abstract

The present paper presents data about the eCommerce in Romania. The data are reflecting comparative study’s regarding the products, ordering method and pay method. The number of active e-shops has increased in 2006 by 50% regarding year 2005. This means one e-shop every two days. Regarding the products, Romania follows the world trend, buying books, music and electronic components. The study shows also the geographic distribution of on-line shops. The geographic distribution of on-line shops shows that the capital city is in the top. In top ten there are 5 counties from Transilvania province, and two from Moldavia and Muntenia. Timis county is on the fifth place. In the last eleven places, with only one e-shop, are three counties from Transilvania, also three from Moldavia and five from Muntenia. The main disadvantages of today’s Romanian e-commerce are insecurity degree, infrastructure, mentality, and ignorance.
