dc.description.abstract	The purpose of our study has been on one side that of elaborating an index of soil quality, that would take into account, respecting the present definition of the concept, only the intrinsic soil parameters, and on the other side reducing the complexity of the present evaluation systems. The purpose of such an index is mainly to offer useful information, in short time and with reduced costs. The idea was applied to a test area – the hydrographic basin of Horoiata river from Tutova Hills.	en_US
