dc.description.abstract This paper represents a stage of long-term research in which we highlight the dynamics of humus, soil reaction indexes and hydrolytic acidity.During vegetation period, as a result of research in 3 types of forest it was established: territorial distribution of humus shows essential variations depending on the type of soil, vegetation type and depth. The typical gray clay forest soil over clay-sandy loam (oak with hornbeam forest, A) and brown clay soil over deeply gleyed clay (durmast oak with linden and ash forest, B) are much more supplied with organic matter, which in the 0-40 cm layers falls within the limits of 1.1-8.5%, 0.9-8.6% and 0.3-3.5% in the brown sandy loam soil over clay-sand (beech with durmast oak forest, C). The dynamics of the pHH2O, pHKClindices, hydrolytic acidity is determined by the soil type, depth and floral indices. Soil of forest A in layers 0-60 cm, characterized by neutral to weak acid pHH2O, pHKClto moderately acidic, low-medium hydrolytic acidity; Forest soil B is weak acid for pHKCland neutral-weak acid for pHH2O, hydrolytic acidity is low.The forest soil C is more acidic and has higher hydrolytic acidity. en_US
