Principalele direcţii strategice pentru dezvoltare rurală ale judeţului Iaşi

Abstract

The potential of the rural space from Iaşi district, regarding primary resources and the population experience in agriculture and handicraft activities, is creating the premises for a durable development and also for the growth of the community life level. The diagnostic analyse of the Iaşi district rural space, is permitting the identification of variables from territory witch slows down or stimulates a durable development, compatible with the principals’ directions of the European Union rural development. There are identified the principals direction of the rural development strategy of the Iaşi district, and after the implementation of the strategic directions of rural development are expected a series of results and the most important from these are the rising of private investments volume in rural space, creation of new work places and the growth of the rural life quality. For a good tuning of rural development politic with Community priorities, Council Settlement regarding the help for rural development that are given by European Agricultural Fund For Rural Development (EAFRD), says in Article 9 the adaptation of strategic lines of Rural Development Community for the programming period 1st January 2007 – 31 December 2013. In the SWOT analyze made for rural space of Iaşi district it was specified the weaknesses and threats which delays the rural development process and which has to made the head list of principal measurements that has to be taken by the local authorities. Rural development can be approached from different angles. Can be watched as a component of territorial development of the country, but can also be watched as a component of regional development. The purpose of this paper is to correlate strategic lines for rural development of European Community with particularities of rural space of Iaşi district, regarding in the same time the expecting results after their implementation.
