Studiu privind dezvoltarea agriculturii judeţului Vaslui

Abstract

The agriculture has the main role in Vaslui County’s economy due the land, the main source of natural resources, so the agriculture remains the most effective production branch. Although the developing rhythm it is increasing the human resources productivity remains law. Over 53% of Vaslui county’s active population is involved in agricol activities. If the agriculture will be properly sustained, it will be no. 1 activity in county’s economy. 1989 meant a radical changing of the agriculture structure. The law of landed fund no 18/1991 has determined the finish of the older communist structure and the birth of the private sector. This law has changed the Vaslui county property’s structure. In 1990, 93, 2% of Vaslui county’s surface was state and cooperatistic property and in 2006 there are 83, 2% private property (442.459 ha) and only 16, 8% (189.381 ha) state property. The surface’s exploitation manner has changed also, so 117714 are individual agricol exploitations, 36 are agricol societies, 108 are private commercial societies, 214 are public institutions( silvic societies, city halls) and 184 are societies of other type (cult institution). According the statistics , 30 % of individual exploitations have older owners (over 60 years) with low work capacity, 30 % of owners are inherittans living in other place than the property itself (urban place not rural), and only 40 % are persons with full work capacity. This feature affects the proper exploitation of the land and involves an ineffective land working activity, affecting the main branch of Vaslui county’s economy that is the agriculture itself.
