Dezvoltarea durabilă - analiza SWOT – a comunei Mănăstireni, judeţul Cluj

Abstract

The lasting development means assuring a better quality life for everyone, at the present and for the next generations; admitting the fact that economy, the environment and social welfare are interdependent and the fact that an environment affected from a quality point of view will negatively influence, sooner or latter, the economical development and most of all our own personal life quality; assuring the satisfaction of human basic necessities: homes, safe streets, the opportunity of fulfilling oneself through education, information, participation, health and work. All these elements need a robust, healthy economy, capable to create the necessary means of satisfying these needs, both present and future. In the present paper, we propose ourselves the analysis (SWOT Analysis) of the local situation, from the potential investor’s point of view in the local economy of the Mănăstireni commune, from Cluj County. Attracting the possible entrepreneurs in different domains will generate professional occupation, increased incomes for the inhabitants, a more efficient allocation of the local resources, new financial resources necessary to put forward new projects of rehabilitation/expansion of physic and social infrastructure, projects of environment protection, of tourism development, for promoting the area etc. The sustainable development is not a detailed plan of action , a formula to be implemented automatically. The sollutions are different depending on space, time , values and available resources. The local communities’ development process, from the sustainable development perspective, firstly involves the acquaintancy of the necesity to plan the developpment, to assess corectly the strong ang week points of the communities, of existing or potential risks and opportunities, to influence the priorities for short and long therm. A sustainable activity is based on active citizens, participating in community’ developmment. The local initiatives are representing a priority for the local communities, the sustainable development being a challenge and a priority in the same time. A challenge because a community has to be aware to the internal and external evolutions, and to adhapt through local actions and initiatives. A priority because the way a community is developping itself can influence its present and future.
