The main objective of the research was to study in controlled
environment conditions, the biology and ecology of mung been species
(Phaseolus aureus Roxb), with the aim of the adaptability on natural
conditions and ecological cultivation in southern part of Romania.
Was followed the behavior of Phaseolus aureus species in the
meteorological condition of 2004 (temperature, humidity, light intensity),
registered in south areas of the country, especially the date registered in
experimental field from Moara Domneasca farm, which is near Bucharest.
The experience was placed in plant pots in 3 repetitions, randomized;
the pot distribution was periodically modified, for homogenizing the
developing conditions of the plants.
In our research, the sowing date was 1 May, to depth on 2-3 cm and
we used 6 seeds for assuring of emergence of 3-4 plants/pot.
The observation and measures permitted the obtaining of the
following results: emergency date; dynamic leaf form, leaf number and their
dimension; apparition of inflorescence; opening of flowers; fecundation;
fructification, full maturity and harvest.
The Phaseolus aureus species emergence was after 8 days from
sowing, and the growing period in controlled environment condition last
until 30 august, date that corresponded with a number of 123 days after
sowing; on this date mung bean plants had a height of 159 cm, with a
medium growing rhythm of 1.29 cm/day, and a number of 12 leafs |
