| dc.description.abstract | The large variety of phyto-sanitary equipment and plants existing on the Romanian market (various brands, various levels of wear), the users’ training level and the requirements Romania has for its accession to the EU demand the adoption of some precise regulations concerning the control of the spraying equipment according to the present-day international norms. This paper presents the situation nowadays in Romania in the filed of the control of the spraying devices and the concerns of INMA with respect to the adoption and implementation of the European norms. In this respect, the functional prototypes of two stands for the control of the characteristics of the spraying machines for the filed works, orchards and vineyards respectively have been achieved. Both stands have small dimensions, easy to move, are built with anticorrosive materials and enable performing tests directly at the beneficiary. The principle underlying the functioning of this measuring equipments is electric conductivity, respectively, closing of the electric circuit through the column of liquid in the test tube when it is filled up. The developed methods and working procedures ensure greater precision of measurement, reducing testing time and certifying the obtained measurement values, automatically printed and graphically represented in a Test Result Bulletin. The functional prototypes of the two stands represent the first step towards the introduction and implementation of the European norms in the control of the sprayers. The advantages of these stands for the testing and checking consist in: increased measuring accuracy, reduced trial time, increased reliability of results, automated printout of the Test bulletin including the test results, easily used in the field. | en_US |
