dc.description.abstract The presence of antifungal active compounds in Paeonia suffruticosa and Hedera helix extracts was detected with TLC bio tests (HOMANS A.L. & FUCHS A., 1970 modified) and HPLC. So 25 µl of acetone extract (20 g FW in 100ml acetone 50%) from both plant species was applied on TLC aluminium plates (silica gel 60 F254; thickness 0,2 mm; Merck, Darmstadt) and processed with an solvent mixture cu tertiary butylmethylester (TBME) isooctane (7:3, v/v). After solvent evaporation (cca. 3 h), the plates were covered with malt- agar medium 1% and than an inoculation with Cladosporium cucumerinum spores was done. The TLC plates was incubated for 4-5 days in wheat chamber at 25°C, the inhibition areas was visible due the black mycelia of Cladosporium cucumerinum. en_US
