Fiabilitatea unei construcţii monitorizate şi strategia utilizării redundanţelor

Abstract

Equipment or structure reliability is defined as their probability of functioning for a specified time length without any damage. In the case of a construction upon which monitoring is performed, i.e. parameter recording and interpretation, reliability is dual in nature: structural for the construction, and temporal for the monitoring network. The present paper refers to the strategy of redundancy employment for the monitoring equipment.
