dc.description.abstract	Family farms are considered in developed countries the basic units in agriculture, in which family is the main source of labour force. In some countries, there are restrictions in the development of major corporations in agriculture to maintain and develop family farms. The problem of the size of agricultural exploitations that fit the demands of technical and scientific progress has been a concern of developed countries. The demand and the trend in European countries have been and still is that of increasing the size of agricultural exploitations.	en_US
